Girl or Boy?
Last night we had a little gender reveal party!
A good friend of mine, Jen, volunteered last week to make us a cake with pink or blue frosting in the middle and we had the ultrasound technician text her directly what the gender was yesterday so we wouldn’t know until everyone else did!
We invited a few friends and family over and let them guess if baby Babb is a girl or a boy by which side of the room they stood on. The majority consensus was “girl.” A sweet coworker (more friend than work-mate) who couldn’t make it sent a beautiful arrangement that included pink and blue flowers.
We carefully cut into the cake and….
It’s a Boy!
Baby Babb is an active little boy! The tech also thought I was measuring big (I hadn’t really been measured till then) by about 2 weeks. So, we may have a New Year’s baby instead of the predicted January 13, 2015, due date!
We are excited to meet our little one and it’s great to officially call the baby “him.” I see cute little beanies, mini sweaters and plaid button-ups in our future. Oh yeah, and Legos, lots of Legos (more for us than him).
